Jeannie Hannigan has a passion for creating effective social media strategies for brands within the food, beverage, and lifestyle industry. In 2011 she joined the team at Latitude Beverage, where she was responsible for all aspects of social media and digital marketing for their rapidly growing wine brand, 90+ Cellars. In this role, Jeannie more than doubled the brand’s social media following, launched a new online sales program, and assisted in everything from customer service to event management to packing boxes in the back room.
During this time, Jeannie was also experimenting with social media within the restaurant space. Over the course of three years she helped Louis DiBiccari develop a social media strategy for his Chef Louie Night events that transformed the event from a casual dinner party to a high-profile, interactive dining experience. The two later teamed up to produce an event called CREATE, which pairs up-and-coming chefs and bartenders with local artists. When it was finally time for Louis to open his own restaurant, Tavern Road, he knew who to call to run point on social media. It was at this point that Jeannie and Louis realized that they had stumbled upon something bigger than a hobby or side project. Social media marketing for restaurants had transformed from an edgy new tool to a crucial piece of the business. And so Front Burner Social was born.
After several years, lots of practice, a little moonlighting from her day job, a few high-octane scooter rides and some gallivanting around Boston with grown men wearing animal costumes, Jeannie dove head first into Front Burner Social in March of 2014. She now manages all aspects of FBS’s day-to-day business, including client relations, strategy, content development, and evaluation.
Though social media is a 24/7 job, Jeannie still finds the time to kick back and relax every now and then. She enjoys eating and drinking her way through Boston and beyond (aka, “research and development”), running marathons, sweating through spin class, and visiting her family in her home town of West Chesterfield, NH.
