Louis DiBiccari is a Chef, restaurant owner, and innovator in the city of Boston. After 15 years of experience working in some of the top Boston restaurants under award-winning Chefs, Louis took the leap and opened Tavern Road in Boston's Fort Point neighborhood. For some, the high octane lifestyle of running a restaurant would be enough, but Chef Louis was never one to shy away from a creative side hustle.
In 2003, and sort of by accident, Louis founded Boston’s first ever underground dining experience. Out of his Brookline apartment, Louis started what is now known as “Chef Louie Nights,” an interactive dining experience where guests vote for themes and ingredients which are not revealed to Chef Louis and his team until the morning of the event. The team then runs around the city like deranged zoo animals trying to organize, conceptualize and execute a five-course meal. Along the way, Louis met Co-Founder Jeannie Hannigan and they worked together to spread the word about this event through social media. What started out as a house party evolved into highly anticipated and consistently sold out event showcasing Boston’s rich young culinary talent.
From there, Louis launched a second event project called CREATE, with a mission of this concept is to bridge the gap between visual and culinary arts in the city of Boston and to help foster the artists’ community back to a multi-cultural city severely lacking in artistic depth. Again, Louis and Jeannie teamed up and wove social media strategy into the fabric of CREATE from the get-go, ensuring the message behind this event could be spread far and wide.
In 2013, Louis opened Tavern Road. Aside from its creative dishes and craft cocktails, Tavern Road served as an incubator for Front Burner Social, where Louis and Jeannie would craft the methods and strategies that they would later roll out to a number of other clients in the food and beverage industry.
On his rare days off, you can find Louis taking day-trips to local culinary destinations, kicking around with his band of chef buddies, exploring local art, and rooting for the Celtics, Sox, Pats, and Bruins.
